Pax Complete
How do I restore Pax Complete on a new iPhone?
Open Pax, tap the settings button in the top corner, and choose Restore Purchases under Pax Complete. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
Can my family use my purchase?
Yes. Pax Complete works with Family Sharing. If purchase sharing is turned on for your family group, everyone in it can unlock Pax Complete by tapping Restore Purchases.
Is Pax Complete a subscription?
No. It's a single purchase that unlocks every current section and every section added later.
How do I ask for a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose Pax Complete.
Using Pax
How do I add the widgets?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Pax. Choose the daily question, the Daily Triad, or (with Pax Complete) a section. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, and add Pax there.
A widget says "Open Pax to begin."
Widgets fill in after Pax has been opened once, so open the app and the widget will update shortly.
My daily reminder isn't arriving.
In Pax, open Settings and check that Daily Reminder is on and the time is right. Then check the iPhone Settings app under Notifications › Pax to make sure notifications are allowed, and that a Focus mode isn't holding them back.
Why don't I see reflections?
Personal reflections are written on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence, which needs a supported iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on. Without it, Pax shows a prewritten reflection. You can switch automatic reflections on or off in Pax's Settings.
Can I open Pax on something other than moods?
With Pax Complete, yes. Open any section and tap Make this my home board, or choose it in Settings under Home Board. On the Temperaments board, tap Which one is you? to choose your temperament and give it a shortcut on your home board.
I'm a mix of two temperaments. Can Pax handle that?
Yes. Most people are a blend. After choosing your main temperament, Pax asks whether a second one also fits, and your list mixes in its quotes too. If you're not sure of either, the Which one is you? page links to the free Temperament Quiz by Art and Laraine Bennett, authors of The Temperament God Gave You.
How can I choose whose words I see?
In Settings, under Tailor Your Wisdom, turn voices on or off, such as Scripture, saints, the Catechism, clergy, consecrated life, Christian authors and Catholic athletes. Your favorites always show.
The quotes
Where do the quotes come from?
From Scripture (Douay-Rheims), the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the writings of the saints and popes, and the homilies and books of trusted priests and Catholic writers. Every quote is matched word for word against a source you can check, and the source appears with each quote.
I think a quote is wrong or misattributed.
